The purpose of this final paper is to apply nutritional science and sound scientific reasoning
to an analysis of a relevant nutrition-related topic. Consider a topic that is of interest to you
that is relevant to nutritional science. As you conduct your research it will be important that
you consider the sources of your information and whether or not they are reliable and
credible. There is a great deal of information on nutrition, some of it reliable, some of it
unreliable or misleading; and while the internet is a wonderful resource for research, it
contains a tremendous amount of questionable and/or unreliable information that sounds
science-based but is not. Thus, it is very important you examine and establish the credibility
of the research you use.
 Length must be 4-6
double-spaced pages (NOT including the title and reference pages). A minimum of 3
scholarly references must be used for this paper. Use standard margins and 12 font, Times
New Roman.
Use the critical thinking and science-based writing skills we practice(d) throughout the term in
this paper. Take time to carefully review the Final Paper Rubric which provides specific
criteria that defines how your work will be graded. As you do that, keep in mind specific
segments of the rubric address both the content and process elements of the paper, and it is
important you cover the areas discussed. In other words, be sure that you carefully review
and understand each rubric segment and that you address all areas as you write your final

1. Bill Powell Nye. (2014). Undeniable: Evolution and the Science of Creation. (C. S., Ed.) New York, USA: St. Martin’s Press.

One of the works of this writer on crucial topics like vaccines as well as antibacterials, genetically modified food and cloning, Nye uses his platform to speak out, maybe breaching as he delves into the psycho-evolutionary underpinnings of evolutionary rejection. As long as his message is being delivered to the science-inclined crowd, at least they can use it to back up their inevitable arguments over meals or even on the web.
In the words of the author: “It’s hard to overstate the importance of evolution as a scientific concept. New answers, new discoveries, and even better questions are generated by it. Evolutionary theory is as vast as the natural world itself. It is also the most profound account of the origins of the universe yet discovered by humanity.” Bill Nye, in his own words: After a heated debate in February 2014, Bill Nye has undertaken an active effort to raise awareness of evolution and the deep ways it effects our lives. In his book, Undeniable: Evolution and the Science of Creation, he covers a dog kennel, a London subway, and 4 billion years of evolution. He also discusses how new species are created and examines the genuine promise and hazard of genetically modified food. For extraterrestrial life, he journeys back in time to 4 billion years to search for extraterrestrials on Earth. More than merely an argument against creationism, Bill Nye sees evolution as a way to better understand the natural world and, ultimately, make a good impact on the world around us; there is a chance that you could land an evening out on the town on Saturday night.”

This website is a reliable source of information for my final paper on genetically modified food because it provides realistic facts or data. It also includes a list of credible sources and articles on this issue. Evidence is kept up to date on this site. I discovered that this website contains information on the safety or danger of food that has been genetically modified. Aside from that, this site provides precise data regarding GMF in many countries throughout the world.

Robert Paarlberg. (January 2014). Genetically Modified Food. The World Needs Genetically Modified Food to End Hunger, 137-140.

I found proof that genetically modified food can be used to alleviate world hunger in this article. Detailed information regarding the food that has been altered and the food that has already been consumed by the general public is also included in this article. Whole Items Market recently anno

Proposed Final Paper Topic
1. Proposed Topic/Title for your Final Paper: _Malnutrition in children____________________
2. Discuss why you chose this topic and the justification for it. Demonstrate you have
thought about the topic and its relevance to nutritional science, health and
wellness. A short paragraph should be sufficient.
Malnutrition is one of the biggest problems which we are facing now because we keep neglecting the importance of how to much balanced diet a child needs to overall growth. It’s very important for parents to have adequate information that how they can give full balanced diet so that they wouldn’t get any deficiency which further leads to retardation.
As malnutrition itself showing that it has fully relevance to nutrition science and if there is deficiency of nutrition in diet then it automatically has adverse effect on the body as well on mental health too.
3.  Discuss how you will go about your research. For example how will you get useful
and scholarly science based information for your paper such as journals, current
textbooks, scholarly internet sites, etc.
I will look up journals, articles, websites, textbooks and from where I can get information. And then cite them.
